Along with the NIHR we are grateful for the support of Newcastle University, Newcastle Hospitals, the Academic Health Science Network for the North East and North Cumbria (AHSN NENC) and LifeArc.
We are part of a wider Diagnostics North East initiative, helping technology developers with every stage of their research including development, evaluation and adoption of their products into healthcare systems.  This includes working closely with the AHSN NENC, MEDConNecT NorthNewcastle Molecular Pathology NodeCEPA Biobank Newcastle and The National Institute for Health Care Excellence External Assessment Centre (NICE EAC).

We are grateful for the support of the National Office for Clinical Research Infrastructure (NOCRI) who co-ordinate activities across NIHR funded programmes and provide a single access point to the MICs.

We work with trade bodies, including the British In Vitro Diagnostic Association (BIVDA), to ensure that we tailor our approach to meet industry need.

We recognise the importance of engaging and involving patients and the public with our research.  We are forming relationships with disease related charities, patient liaison groups and public research support groups such as VOICE
